Wind Facts & Figures in France
France is experiencing remarkable growth and is now the fourth largest wind market in Europe
With a cumulative capacity of 3,671 MW France's position is only exceeded by Germany, Spain and Italy.
A total of 1,239 MW of wind power capacity was built in 2008, and by the end of 2013 the cumulative French capacity is expected to be 14,371 MW. This will at the time make France the third largest market in Europe.
